It's a KID THANG!!! (or why Create is perfect for boys, too)

Create friends, what do you think of when you think of CREATE?
Arts?
Crafts?
Birthday Parties?
Drop-In Projects?
Camps?
Tween & Pre-Tween Nights?
Ladies Nights? (yes, yes, of course Ladies Nights, but for this post, let's think about the little ones!)
FUN?
MESSY FUN?
YES! Create is all this and more...for kids of all ages, GIRLS & BOYS alike.
Yes, BOYS.
Boys like camp.
Boys like arts & crafts.
Boys have birthdays.
Boys LIKE TO GET MESSY! (I can say that with authority, I have a son and so does Lisa...)
So... (my point is coming, I assure you)
Create is BOYS AND GIRLS.
We work hard at Create to have something that appeals to every kiddo that walks through our door. When we plan our camps, you can be sure we'll have themes that excite boys and girls alike. The same goes for our birthday parties.
At Create we know that nurturing a love of art and crafting is an important part of being a kid. That every kid deserves to be able to express himself creatively, to think outside the box. To feel confident and proud when they create art. This is what drives us to create an environment where boys and girls can both come, get a little messy and have tons of fun!
But what does Create have for boys, you ask? We have robots, from banks to stuffies to robots made out of tin cans. We have dogs, fish, treasure boxes and telescopes just waiting for your little guy to decorate. We have sports-themed crafts and very cool Sports Camp coming up this summer. Some other camps that might appeal to your little man? Build It Camp, Super Hero Camp, Pirate Camp, Explore the Galaxy Camp...and one you might not expect: Knit & Stitch Camp.
Yes. Knit & Stitch Camp.
We have been thrilled by the number of boys who have shown interest in knitting and sewing. And even more thrilled that we've found they're GOOD AT IT! AND THEY ENJOY IT!
So, the next time you hear the words every momma dreads: I'M BORED! Bring you little guys and gals over to Create for some messy, crafty fun for everyone!
