wanted to create something extra special but it didn't quite turn out?

First off I know that I should NEVER try a new recipe on guests so why did I think that I should try a new pattern that I have never made before. It seems the more I want it to be perfect the more perfect escapes me.

Second off you should never substitute the first time you make something, because it is more difficult to adjust for substitutions when you are not sure about the end product.

So here I ask myself again why do I do these things? Because I am always SURE that I can do it. Yep I like to just jump in with both feet and work really hard until I succeed. Sometimes it take a bit longer (ok a lot longer) to accomplish my goal then I imagined but I usually get there.

Now you might be asking yourself what the monkey is she telling us this for? The reason is because this says A LOT about me and my personality. The past couple weeks I have spent many moments working on projects that I have not made before but in the end I have come up with some very exciting projects and some wonderful items that have been requested. And here is my latest project that I have completed for a very special customer! I hope she likes it.

Now have I ever told you why I don't bake....
