April Tween Night

It was nice to see some returning friends and to meet some new ones. Since I was unsure how many tweens would be coming I waited to order the pizza until after they started showing up. I am sure glad that I did because we only had a few signed up but much to our delight 17 showed up. We quickly divided the girls into 2 groups and began our earth friendly projects. Everyone had a chance to make a journal from a recycled box and to paint a reuseable tote bag. Next the pizza arrived and the eating began...then back to finish our projects. As everyone completed their projects we quickly wrote down fun things for charades and before we knew it, parents had arrived to take their children home. THANK YOU to everyone who attended this month's tween night. Here are just a few highlights from the evening.
