Make a Pillowcase, Make a Difference
Friday, March 12 drop in from 6 to midnight
Calling all quilters, sewers and crafters! American Patchwork & Quilting is challenging you to join our efforts to Make a Pillowcase, Make a Difference. Every pillowcase can make a difference in our community. A pillowcase can provide comfort for a cancer patient, hope for a foster child, encouragement for a battered woman or beauty for a nursing home resident. Join us at CREATE as we make pillowcases to donate to Omaha's Children Hospital.
Materials: For two contrasting pillowcases: • 1 1⁄8 yards print No. 1 • 1 1⁄8 yards print No. 2 Finished pillowcase: 30×20" (fits a standard-size bed pillow) Quantities are for 44/45"-wide, Sewing machine Rotary Cutter/mat/ruler Matching thread
