A Wonderfully CREATive Weekend!

What a fabulous weekend we had at CREATE! As usual, we kicked off with a Friday night CREATE-a-thon! Have you been to one yet? You must join us! Especially now! On Saturday evening, CREATE hosted the Christ Community Church MOPs group Annual Pajama Party! From 7pm until midnight, the ladies chatted & laughed, created, played games, took advantage of our free WiFi, chatted, laughed & created some more, and of course, ate! It was the first visit to CREATE for most of the ladies and they loved the store. We received some wonderful compliments. Theresa T. said she loved how warm and inviting CREATE is; when you walk in it feels like walking into someone's home! It felt so good to hear that, since that is exactly the atmosphere we strive for here at CREATE! Many of the ladies brought their own crafty projects to work on. Debbie C. was making cards and was really impressed with the selection of stamps CREATE has that are available for our customers to use. Jana M. took advantage of our Janome 8077 sewing machine to add some stitched detail to her wedding album. Elizabeth P. loved our selection of scrapbook papers and vintage alphabet embellishments and created three adorable clipboards for each of her children. Shanna B. & Neely M. both worked on knitting projects. Some of the women chose to settle in on the couches in our cozy conversation area and just enjoy an evening out, knowing the kiddos were safe at home with Dad! I chatted with nearly everyone and answered tons of questions about what we do here at CREATE, handed out calendars and fliers about our upcoming Grand Opening and talked about all the cool classes we have for both kids and adults. The evening was a stellar success and we can't wait to see ladies of CCC MOPs again!
This week the Creatologists are working hard and having fun getting all the activities for our Grand Opening Celebration ready. We look forward to celebrating CREATE with you!

It was a fabulous night Amy! Thank you for allowing us to rent out the store for the night and enjoy the atmosphere. I do hope that we can take advantage of the space again in the future.
